Bowling Pinchaser - Bell Lanes - Sun City

Department: Bowling

BOWLING PINCHASER - Bell Lanes

Days/Hours: Will Vary. Typically shifts are 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm

MUST have flexible availability to fill in different shifts as needed.

Hourly Rate: $16.00

Job Summary: Performs work in the cleaning and correction of minor malfunctions of bowling pinsetter operating mechanisms.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clears all pinsetter malfunctions in an expedient manner and records malfunctions in a daily log for mechanic’s use.
  • Performs minor repairs on pinsetter equipment, such as repairs, guide rollers, scissors, minor bowling ball repair, pin rotation, and cleaning of essential components; and minor adjustments.
  • Clear pin jams, turret jams, ball returns, and all other calls related to the operation of the pinsetter.
  • Rotate and clean bowling pins to maintain good bowling conditions.
  • Changes pit carpet and ball wipes daily.
  • Works under the direction of the Bowling Lanes Lead Mechanic to a full range of tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in mandatory safety training and prioritize safety throughout the workday.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience and/or training which demonstrates the potential ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Prior pinsetter experience helpful but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of cleaning materials and safety rules used in a bowling establishment.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs on pinsetters, lanes, and pins using mechanic hand tools.
  • Ability to physically climb under, over, around, and off of moving equipment in a safe manner.
